This May, I’m taking on '70k in May' - walking 70km (43.5 miles) and picking up litter along the way - to support families in Kenya facing hunger.
With the help of Christian Aid, parents in the slums of Nairobi like Fridah are finding new ways to grow food themselves in the smallest of urban spaces so their children don’t go without.

I am a little behind schedule for my original target date of 30 September, due mainly to all the heatwaves and also sickness. So far I have done approximately two thirds of the 70k. I have therefore extended my finish date until 31st December (also for any new donations!). I will get there in the end...
