My story

We at St. Mary's are fundraising to support Christian Aid week a little late, as the week in May wasn't convenient and raising money for the good work Christian Aid are doing is more important. Whether you are coming to the tea and / or making cakes for it or can't join in that, please support the work of Christian Aid.
Thank you.

Let's support this great work!

This Christian Aid Week, we’re supporting families facing hunger in Nairobi.

Parents like Fridah are growing food in small city spaces so their children can eat. With tools, seeds and training, families can plan for the future.

Please give what you can so more women can be trained and receive the basics this Christian Aid Week.

How your money helps

You can support families facing the daily stress of food insecurity in Nairobi.

In the crowded and noisy settlements of Nairobi, parents like Fridah wake up knowing they must earn money – otherwise their children won’t eat that evening. But with tools, seeds and training from our partner, Beacon of Hope, families can grow nutritious vegetables in small city spaces and grow hope for the future.

Every pound you raise could help:

  • provide seeds and tools so people can grow food in small spaces.
  • fund training so people can plan ahead and protect their livelihoods.
  • support community-led projects that strengthen food security and incomes.
