My story

This May, for our Christian Aid Challenge, a group of us are taking on the challenge  -  70 Hearts - ONE hope, to support families facing hunger.

We will be knitting hand sized hearts for church members to give away to those who are in need so that they may have comfort and know they are not alone; that the love of Jesus for them is given within each knitted stitch. We will have these hearts blessed each week as we make them.

Please support our challenge this Christian Aid Week - supporting pastoral care within the community and helping Christian Aid with funding for parts of our world so desperately in need.

Thank you!

How your money helps

You can support families facing the daily stress of food insecurity in Nairobi.

In the crowded and noisy settlements of Nairobi, parents like Fridah wake up knowing they must earn money – otherwise their children won’t eat that evening. But with tools, seeds and training from our partner, Beacon of Hope, families can grow nutritious vegetables in small city spaces and grow hope for the future.

Every pound you raise could help:

  • provide seeds and tools so people can grow food in small spaces.
  • fund training so people can plan ahead and protect their livelihoods.
  • support community-led projects that strengthen food security and incomes.
